“Iris” explores presence, perception, and awareness. Built in layered textures of crushed glass, metallic elements, and deep emerald tones, the piece draws the viewer inward.

The high-gloss resin surface creates luminous depth, allowing the artwork to shift subtly depending on light and viewing angle.Both striking and contemplative, Iris was created to feel less like decoration and more like presence — the kind of artwork that quietly commands a room and invites a second look.The work developed gradually, beginning with textured foundations before the central form emerged.

Multiple layers were sealed beneath resin to create dimensional depth and a glass-like finish that amplifies both colour and light.Created by an Alberta artist and part of an emerging body of contemporary mixed media work exploring texture, depth, and perception.Shipping available at buyer’s expense.
